Here is The Start Demand True Equality in Oblation Run [22 SEPTEMBER 2015]
I don’t know why in this society that claim they frowned public nudity-where they easily condemned/banned a female bodies show at public especially at legal institution (even if that female not fully naked said just half naked), can tolerated this- men full naked show at institution. “oh this is different this is tradition protest” If this oblation run is female naked only big chance is it will become extremely offensive, politically incorrect and count as sexism-if it is group of female that naked.
“oh the men do it willingly”
Well if there is a group of women who willingly to full frontal naked at institution will then it easily tolerated by Philippines society? i don’t think so (maybe if she willingly to wear bikini during swimming can be tolerated but not in the context of full naked at legal education place right?)
”women are allowed too”
Well if there is truly no double standards in society about nudity, it will become like in Europe where you can easily really see men and women naked equally at public- sometime more men & sometime more women. While in here from the start of oblation run very long time ago until now it is always male-full-frontal-naked-only right? Not to forget men naked only is now a habit so if no interruption from past till future, it will become ‘men naked only at festival’ status quo. How this fair especially when the society easily frowned and condemned female nudity?
Can you imagine if there is a tradition of ‘female naked only’ that exist long time ago till now – where men free to laugh at vagina and took photos at institution, and when there is women questioned it . The men easily answered “Oh men are allowed too, case closed, not sexism”. if it happen to female this excused more unacceptable right?
We used this excused to elude the notion of inequality because we know female joined naked is inconceivable since there is notion – women covered is ‘good’, objectification only happen to female, men shameless is brave, religious factor etc. and so please stop this kind of excused and admit it that this is unfair.
I don’t want to see in the same society, where if a men look at female naked show, it will become offensive by society even more offend and be taken seriously if it can happen at education place where a male audience can took a photo… but all of sudden the reaction 180 degree opposite, if the gender where reverse.
So i wish either men and women can naked equally and both are okey to be seen by opposite gender naked, or both are inappropriate and be labelled “objectified” equally, and yes i don’t want this kind of unfairness happen either on male side or female side. I want justice for both side and that how it should be.

yeah i know some female will act more mannerly / act like not interested towards men bodies, just to try to defend this men-naked-show-only, after reading my point.

I demand equality for both sexes
If only and always male that fully naked at public street during oblationrun (which even can be held by legal institution in the society that claim frowned nudity. Even every year, and tolerated). it actually cause unfairness to both sexes.
Sexism for male : men are taboo for seeing female even just half naked or bikini at university yet women can easily see men even full naked. if men see “female naked only” usually it will easily derided as sexism or objectification (unacceptable by society) yet women can easily get away with this (even if she took photos or/and make a joke of penis).
Sexism for female : women more easy to get slut shaming by society even if they still covered they vital part-bikini at public yet men can easily even naked (clearly exposed penis) at public and not be judge by society.
This is unfair yet most of people are passive ; either ignorance or don’t realize this-since it already become part of culture or they even try to defend this unfairness.
Well, how if in oblationrun it is a “female naked only protest ” every year at public street. where the men protest too but in full clothes? how do you think the reaction of society is-which claim “frowned nudity”? (I think the excused that they use to defend “men naked only” will disappear immediately if the situation where reverse).
My point is not about naked or not naked, my point is whatever the standards never forget equality matter. That is why i wish in the future either men and women can NAKED EQUALLY at oblation run (o.r) or atleast both banned.
So to all Philippines egalitarian if you want equality, help support this movement by sending your idea (meme, article etc) to reverseoblationrun@gmail.com (and i will post it here and send it to University of Philippines (u.p). Maybe you can straight forwards send it to the authority at u.p). Yes can be in perspective of inequality towards male or towards female.
It take a long time and the first step to change it is to acknowledge that there is unfairness here.
